All For Jesus!

"So let us keep on coming boldly to the throne of grace, so that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need"  Hebrews 4:16

The verb used here denotes more than a single approach (we "keep on coming"), a detail which is lost in most translations. This means we are invited to approach God's throne of grace not only on one single occasion, or on a few very special occasions, but on multiple occasions, whenever we choose to. It is an open and continuing invitation. God does not restrict or ration our access to His throne of grace; He longs for us to come to Him, and He welcomes us warmly on each and every occasion.

Prayer

"Thank You, Lord, that you welcome us so warmly into Your presence. Please increase our desire to be with You, to spend time in Your presence, and to come to You frequently, knowing that all of our anxieties and cares melt away in the light of Your glory and grace."
