Life Groups
What is a Life Group?
We need to become bigger and smaller at the same time. Big church is great but it can often be anonymous and it’s possible to be lonely in a crowd.
At New Life we encourage everyone to be part of a Life Group; it is a vital ingredient for us to grow in friendship, mutual support, prayer, outreach, encouragement, Bible awareness and our worship to God. Life groups plant an expression of Jesus in streets, neighbourhoods and communities all over the City of Derby.
Life Groups take place on a fortnightly basis, predominately on a Thursday night 7:30pm – 9:30pm although we have some that meet at different times for convenience.
New Life leadership provide some short teaching via DVD and discussion questions to make it easier to host a Life Group, sometimes from those discussion times the Life Group host may also bring some teaching to help the group grow in understanding.
